Dublin Bay Track

The club has reached agreement with DOC to develop a MTB orientated multi use track on Conservation Department land between Albert Town and Dublin Bay.

Track will consist of a 10.5km out and back loop starting at the Albert town camping ground and winding along the top of Dean's Bank to opposite the Outlet motor camp and back again.

The track will also be available to be used for running events similar to the successful Naseby 12 hour challenge, which attracts 700 riders including families, school groups, teams and individuals.

The nature and the location of the proposed track will see it used by many groups in the community including Mountain bikers, walkers, runners and tourists. It will be also appeal to other recreational organizations including multisport, orienteering, roganes and Xterra type events.

This track will be a valuable asset to the Wanaka community as a whole which will be available for all the community to use and be designed in such a way that riders of all ages and abilities will be able to enjoy the challenge.
