Thank you to all who came out for the Deans Bank working bee (Aug 23). Great turn out so got everything done in good time. We spread two truck loads of gravel over the worst wet bits and it should be all nicely bedded in for spring and summer riding.
Thank you! See you all (plus more) for the next session!

Racers Edge Trek - Bike Wanaka 10 Hour
ENTRIES ARE NOW OPEN.
Sunday October 26th 2014 on the Dean's Bank Track @ Albert Town Camping Ground, Wanaka.
The fourth annual 10 Hour event will be held on the purpose built 10km track which is situated on DOC land alongside the Clutha River at Deans Bank in Wanaka. The track is all single track and has been designed for bikers by bikers- so it’s fun to ride! The track has been designed to suit riders of all abilities. Classes will include solo, teams then single speed, junior, open, vet then men, women and mixed (for teams).
Why a 10 hour event? People aren’t so fit coming out of winter so the 10 hour format fits well.
With the race time finishing at 7.00pm means no lights will be required.
These events are real social occasions. A tent village is set up with the track meandering its way through and past your allocated site. The idea is over the 10 hour period you ride as many laps of the course as you are able or want to, obviously the individual or team who complete the most laps are the winners. So grab your mates and send in your entry early, as numbers of solo and teams will be limited.
Entries close at midnight on Sunday October 12th, 2014 otherwise entries will be accepted on a first in and first paid basis. Links below.
Any questions regarding registration email our secretary, Ken Super at firstname.lastname@example.org
Any questions regarding the race itself please email our race director and club president Jamie Greenway at email@example.com
